I. Introduction Technology and its constant advancements have integrated itself into every aspect of our world. Music has now become a place for the facilitation of experiences through technology in our society. However, the monetization of music through technology has created a far more difficult experience for the fans of music in all genres. In reference to technology, the term streaming is defined as â€Å"playing continuously as data is sent to a computer over the Internet†, (Webster). The internet and its streaming capabilities is an amazing tool used to connect the fans, almost instantly, to the music; however, it also puts the content at risk due to the possible technological issues, exclusivity rights, and digital piracy. One of the biggest reasons why technology has been impacted our society is because it has made itself useful in our daily lives. Internet streaming technology has impacted our entertainment by delivering audio and video very fast. So how does streami ng work? Internet streaming technology is created through a collaboration of three components – the server, data stream, and decoder. Servers are used to store information or data in its memory. When a consumer streams music online they are receiving cable or satellite signals from the server to their device. Next, once your data has received it has to be decoded back into audio and video. The first thing I noticed when I looked at the hunting horn is that there is man playing some sort of instrument, and also wearing clothes that would believe came from 16th century Europe. Yet it is obviously made out of ivory which probably came from an African elephant or Rhino. After doing some research I noticed that most African hunting horns were curved, and most European horn were straight. At first glance you would think it was African but the engravings tell a different story. It has a very symmetrical and detailed design which vaguely look like some sort of coat of arms, and also a carving on the middle of the hunting horn which has the resemblance of a medieval castle. While encouraging young Americans to attend some kind of secondary school is always a positive, college is not for everyone. Many students carry a heavy disdain for even primary schooling. While 10 percent of these children may be afflicted by learning disabilities (ScienceDaily.com), it is clear that some people are just not scholars. In short, they lack the drive needed for higher education. Many people, including my own family, feel that yes, money is necessary for survival in society, but that our focus should instead be on happiness rather than the number of zeros in our bank accounts. Some may argue that through college, students may find this personal fulfillment, or happiness, but according to the Chronicle for Higher Education, over 21 percent of students felt overwhelmed by what they were doing in college, which does not sound like the kind of â€Å"enriching† environment it’s supposed to be. College has its major purks, that is clear from the fact that this is such a big debate, but to say that â€Å"everyone should go to college† is just ludicrous. In a world where every person is individual and unique, saying that college, or even higher education in general, is the right option for everyone, is simply neave.
